MacCormaics to partner with Bodegas Renacer from Argentina

Bodega Renacer was founded by Patricio Reich in 2003.  The Renacer vineyards are located in Perdriel, a unique area of Mendoza – Argentina, at the foot of the Andes Mountains and on the south margin of the Mendoza River. In this area Malbec and Cabernets find their best expression due to the outstanding characteristics of climate, altitude, soil and water.

​Bodega Renacer has over 30 hectares of their  own vineyards. Some of them more than seventy years old, planted with Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc with a production of less than 8 tons per hectare. In 2021 they obtained organic vineyard certification, reaffirming their commitment to the environment and sustainable production. They also work on a long-term relationship with the best local producers in the micro-regions of Valle de Uco and Luján de Cuyo.

Well-known Italian winemaker, Alberto Antonini consults here and they were the first estate in Argentina to employ precision viticulture, a system that analyses specific areas within a vineyard so as to better manage them and have less of an environmental impact.

Their wines have won many awards, and were in Wine Spectator top 100 wines in the world
