Ennis Whiskey Club Tasting Great tasting of Japanese whiskies with the Ennis Whiskey Club in march this year. We tasted Toguchi Single Malt, Mars Cosmo Blended Malt, Okayama Single Malt, Akashi Single Malt, and Nikka From the Barrel. The tasting showed the diversity and richness of Japanese whiskies. The category is seeing an emergence of smaller craft producers drawing on years of distilling experience.

Wine Cru hosted by Solera Wine Merchants, MacCormaics, and Celtic Whiskey took place on Monday September 23rd at Fallon & Byrne. Over 140 wines were tasted by 80 trade visitors. We want to thank everyone who came along, and we look forward to meeting you again next February.

Ireland's Biggest Whiskey Event Ireland’s premier whiskey tasting event, Whiskey Live Dublin took place on the 16th and 17th May 2024. MacCormaics showcased it premium range of Whiskies and liqueurs: Bunnahabhain Malts, Heavens Door, and Akashi and Togouchi Japanese whiskies, FEW Rye and Widow Jane 10 year old Bourbon. Also Amarula cream liqueur. It was a great event and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2025!

Bunnahabhain Islay Malt Whisky Picks Up More Awards Bunnahabhain that un-Islay of Islay whiskies picked up three awards in the recent IWSC. Its flagship whisky Bunnahabhain 12 years won gold in the category Distillers Single Malts 12 years and Younger. The expressions: Toiteacha Dha and Cruach Mhona also picked up Gold in the category Single Malts No Age Statement.
